Duties:
- Provide care and support to individuals in need, including children, elderly, or individuals with disabilities
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information
Skills:
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Basic understanding of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with cleanliness standards and ability to maintain a clean living environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
