A successful career as a licensed veterinary technician at Animal Emergency Care requires:
- US veterinary technician license (LVT), certification (CVT), or registration (RVT) with the ability to obtain a veterinary technician license in Washington state.
- Desire to always seek the highest standards of medicine for our patients
- Ability to approach each patient, co-worker, and pet parent with compassion

The entry wage is $23.57 per hour with growth potential to $42.57 in this position. Preference is given to candidates with:
- Associate degree in veterinary technology
- More than four years experience working in a veterinary hospital
- Previous experience working in emergency medicine
High end of the salary range is provided to:
- Veterinary technician specialists (VTS)
