Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Perform specimen collection, processing, and analysis as required
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California
- Previous experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or senior care facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Familiarity with coding systems and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in infection control practices
- Ability to operate medical equipment such as neonatal ventilators and dermal fillers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
