Responsibilities for this Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:
- Patient Care: Administering medications, wound care, and basic nursing tasks like taking vital signs and assisting with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating).
- Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions to RNs or physicians.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of patients’ health status, treatments, and responses.
- Communication: Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, updating family members, and educating patients about their care plans.
- Support: Assisting RNs and physicians with procedures and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensuring a clean and safe environment, preventing infections, and adhering to healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Pay Breakdown:
- Total Weekly Pay: $1520
- Taxable Pay: $680/week
- Non-Taxable Pay: $840/week (Stipends)
- Stipends= Lodging + Meals
Job requirements for the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program is required.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
