Full Job Description
The Sales Development Representative role is a key position on our sales team. You will function as the first point of contact for many of our new customers, setting the foundation for a great relationship. This role is the lynchpin between marketing and sales as you take leads, qualify them, and turn them into high quality opportunities for our sales team.
You are a self starter who has a high degree of personal responsibility. You enjoy the challenge of connecting organization’s challenges with potential solutions and helping them see value in innovative technology. You are an engaged, enthusiastic communicator who can move future customers through the early stages of intrigue all while building great rapport.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiating contact via phone, email, social media, and events to reach account decision-makers and understand their business needs
- Identify high potential prospects and transition them to the appropriate sales team - partner with inside and field sales reps to develop a target list of accounts to penetrate on a quarterly basis in support of the business plan
- Manage inbound leads, set up appointments, and route qualified leads to sales
- Create and improve documentation and tracking processes
- Work closely with Marketing on lead generation and prospecting initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience working within the Advertising/ Marketing tech industry
- Great attitude with the desire to work in sales in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable on the phone - high engagement and consultative
- Familiarity with inside sales or customer-facing experience
- Experience working with CRM tool sets
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to deal with change
- Team-oriented
- BA/BS degree
