Senior Director, Product Management - Pricing and Positioning

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Product Management specializing in Pricing and Positioning to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing pricing strategies and positioning for our product lines, ensuring we maximize revenue opportunities and market competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with specific expertise in pricing strategies, market analysis, and competitive positioning. This is a remote position that can be located in the US or Canada within the Eastern or Central time zones.
Your Role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for all of Sangoma's products and services.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ultize your previous experience to define and articulate clear value propositions for Sangoma's product portfolio.
- Develop positioning strategies that differentiate our products in the marketplace.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective communication of product positioning.
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
- Identify opportunities for new product features or enhancements based on market needs and competitive landscape.
- Partner with product development teams to ensure pricing and positioning strategies are integrated into product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies that support pricing and positioning objectives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing and positioning strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on pricing performance and market positioning.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product management with a focus on pricing and positioning.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Experience in the Managed Service market and UCaaS.
- Knowledge of pricing software and tools.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
