Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our accounting administrative team as well as legal support (corporate and real estate) to the managing partner of the firm. This is a full time in-office position in our Buckhead legal office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine accounting matters, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, time billing for office professionals, as well as legal support including correspondence, file management, preparation of legal documents such as contracts, real estate documents, corporate documents and intellectual property filings.
- Organize and maintain firm administrative files.
-Organize and maintain client legal files and documents
- Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines for administrative team nd managing partner.
- Handle communication with clients and other parties.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Support administrative team in organizing firm business files for easy retrieval
- Assist in drafting correspondence and legal documents.
Requirements:
-Four year college degree with major in accounting or finance.
-Ability to commute daily and work full time in-office schedule in Buckhead office.
-Ability to multi-task, track and manage various projects for multiple professionals.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work independently and manage conflicting deadlines.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent appearance, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- Proficiency in document management systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.
-Experience with TABS attorney time billing system.
-Familiarity with legal case management software (Practice Master).
- Ability to review legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and contract preparation.
- Experience with clerical duties in a legal setting.
- Knowledge of file organization and maintenance.
- Data entry accuracy and speed.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
