Summary/Objective:
The Program Manager at PSI is the primary customer service advocate and champion and ensures the customer has a world-class experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Takes ownership of the customer experience, timeline, and deliverables and ensures all members of the organization support the customer, project, and PSI objectives.
2. Remain engaged in all aspects of the project from the initial award through and including the safe launch period.
3. Leads cross-functional team and facilitates the APQP process.
4. Facilitates cross functional tool design reviews and design approval from Director of Tooling
5. Deliver turnkey tooling, systems, and production processes to the operations team ensuring all functional and dimensional issues are resolved prior to SOP.
6. Ensures cost objectives are met (BOM cost, tooling, engineering, and ECO budgets, etc.)
7. Provide timeline updates to the customer as needed but at a minimum of every two weeks in a Gantt chart format.
8. Is encouraged to be an active participant in all tool samplings, and must attend all in-house T0 tool samplings.
9. Observe runoff of overseas tooling prior to approving tool shipment.
10. Travel as needed to support customer needs and visit tooling and other suppliers to ensure the quality of tool construction and that customer timelines and project objectives are met.
11. Provides customer support for any issues related to the assigned program(s).
12. Continues to be a technical resource supporting the project until the end of production.
13. When necessary, escalate within the organization to ensure customer and project objectives are met.
14. Manage ECOs for assigned projects and accounts.
15. Technical resource supporting new business quoting activities
16. Present quotes to customers for house accounts
17. Participate in customer Quarterly Business Reviews
18. Understand and promote the use of new technologies affecting our industry
19. Always promote PSI as a world-class injection molding source
Qualifications:
Education and experience are required for the role.
1. Must be PMP or PgMP certified
2. Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), manufacturing engineering, or business or technical equivalent.
3. Experience managing projects that involve injection molded plastics preferred.
4. Experience launching new programs with Tier I automotive suppliers or automotive customers is a plus.
5. Tooling background would be a definite plus.
6. Experience with 3D CAD modeling software and mold flow software is a plus.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
This position has no direct reports.
Working Conditions:
· Primarily working indoors, office environment.
· May sit for several hours at a time.
· Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
· Repetitive use of hands to operate computer, printers and copiers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
