Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Director of Supportive Care Services or designee, develop and implement staff education based on a variety data/outcomes analysis that are indicators for staff education and quality needs. Duties include, but are not limited to: using quality data to make recommendations for educational presentations for all hospice disciplines; work with and support the QAPI team with audits, data collection, data analysis and improvement initiatives; assist with staff professional development and specialty qualifications; assist with on-boarding; assisting staff with problem solving
Qualifications:
- A BSN in Nursing is required.

3 - 5 years experience in hospice is required.

Experience with teaching, precepting, or in-service presentations required.

Experience working in an admission or intake dept. preferred.

Requires proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products and various software, database and electronic records programs.

Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of nursing practices and principles is required.

Experience in staff development and/or training and Home Care experience is preferred.

Current RN Licensure is required in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island (may apply for RI license as part of on-boarding).

Evidence of current CPR certification is required.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hire
Pay Range: USD $84,198.40 - USD $154,024.00 /Yr.
