Project Hope Foundation, a leading provider of home-, clinic-, and classroom-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, is actively seeking an individual interested in a full-time or part-time position as Maintenance Specialist for multiple sites within Project Hope Foundation (PHF). The only nonprofit provider of ABA therapy in Upstate South Carolina, Project Hope Foundation offers a range of programs designed to meet the needs of our more than 200 clients, creating a flexible, fast-paced, and collaborative environment for staff.
The expected work week is up 40 hours a week for full time employees and 20-25 hours a week for part time employees. The schedule based on the individual’s availability and the site specific needs. Travel required between sites, vehicle provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct all repair work within applicable licenses (electrical, plumbing, refrigeration)
- Maintain regular site maintenance to include HVAC servicing, plumbing upkeep and general facility functionality (light bulb changes, ceiling tile upkeep, etc.) along with all general repairs as needed (repairing drywall, painting, etc)
- Perform construction/repairs connected to renovation projects at applicable campuses
- Monitor pest control at all sites outside of contracted vendor work
- Assist in landscaping needs outside of contracted vendor work
- Assemble larger supply needs to include furniture, therapy items, games and playground equipment
- Routinely check for functionality of all safety equipment to include fire extinguishers, elevators, exit doors, etc.
- Meet contracted vendors on-site as needed in conjunction with the Facilities Coordinator
- Other office work and duties as requested
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or the national equivalent (GED HiSET, TASC)
- Skilled in maintenance and construction with an ability to work independently on projects
- Certifications in plumbing and/or electrical work preferred
- Ability to push/move 50 lbs, work in extreme temperatures, bend, crouch, kneel while working and climb/work from ladder
- Ability to organize, prioritize and carry out multiple tasks in a changing work environment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
