Field Service Technician
This position requires:
- Good general construction experience and skills
- Familiarity with common diagnostic tools, including electronic meters
- Good Communication verbally and in written form with your team members
- Ability to analyze written instructions and job conditions to perform service work safely and according to project documents
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
We are looking for candidates that would like to learn an interesting and challenging career, not simply being hourly help. Any person in good physical health and with a positive attitude is encouraged to consider applying. Quick learners are going to be the most valuable assets.
An ideal candidate will have some construction experience and a familiarity with electrical and plumbing as well as rough and finish carpentry. HVAC control experience is especially useful. Although we do not install electrical equipment, we often have to diagnose issues with electronic systems.
The work occasionally includes physically demanding situations, including lifting over 80 lbs. and climbing on roofs or through crawlspaces. Dirt and sweat are common, but projects also include fine finish work using expensive materials. We get to do cool stuff - fireplaces and outdoor kitchens.
The most important skill is the ability to communicate and work effectively with different customer types in their homes. Respect and good manners are greatly appreciated.

Work Location: In person, in the office and warehouse and in people’s private homes in the greater Brunswick County area. Remote work is not available.

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
