Dental Office (Confidential) is a small private practice in Seattle, WA. We are mostly FFS with only two carriers that we are in network with: Delta Premier and Premera. While we are busy and fast-paced, we love to laugh. We are open Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, with occasional Fridays.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily administrative functions of the clinic, supporting patients while adhering to company policies and standards. This role involves a variety of duties, including reception, scheduling, coordinating with other offices and patients, preparing and presenting treatment plans, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient charts and records.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide them with a warm and welcoming experience
- Check patients in upon arrival and check out upon departure
- Confirm and schedule appointments. Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient operations.
- Informing patients of their out of pocket costs and collecting daily.
- Sending and responding to emails.
- Following up with unscheduled recare and treatment and helping get patients re-established.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient charts and records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries.
- Prepare and present treatment plans, ensuring patients understand their recommended care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions and concerns in a calm and helpful manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
- Prioritize and multitask on multiple projects, managing interruptions effectively.
- Follow office policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment

Experience
- 1 year of previous experience in dental office administration or clinical dental role is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Weave and Fuse dental software.
- Passion for dentistry and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
