This role involves leading and guiding athletes. Collaboration with fellow coaches is essential, so being a team player is key. We place great importance on technical expertise, especially in spotting and breaking down higher-level skills, while also fostering a motivating and positive environment. The gym's culture is paramount—we aim to encourage each gymnast positively while striving for excellence.
Essential Duties
- Implement Program Goals – Proactive and Comprehensive planning
- Work with the staff to maintain a positive learning environment
- Execute lesson plans and skill development programs
- Train and development of athletes in compulsory & Optional levels with option for xCel
- Communicate with staff, athletes and parents
- Professional Development – Attend Clinics & Certifications
- Attend and Contribute to staff meetings
- Attend competitive meets and possible overnight travel
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Acute knowledge of and passion for the sport of gymnastics
- 4+ years’ coaching gymnastics
- Must be able to work well with a team of coaches
- Strong knowledge of Developmental program rules
- Strong spotting ability
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- High energy, Great attitude and positive communication skills
- Can work late afternoon to Evenings. We are flexible with the number of work days and can attend weekend competitions when needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
