**Position: Receiver**
**Starting Wage: $17 per hour**
**Responsibilities:**
- Accurately receive goods daily from various shipments and clients.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all items to check for any damage or missing components.
- Maintain impeccable penmanship for clear and legible record-keeping.
- Document detailed notes for each item received, including date, time, delivery company, quantity, weight, photo references, item descriptions, and any damages noted.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency, safety, and organizational standards.
**Reasoning and Research:**
- Actively enhance knowledge and skills related to handling, packing, moving, storing, shipping, and crating of furniture and artworks.
- Develop specialized techniques and methods for unique logistical challenges.
- Improve understanding of business operations and systems.
- Support the Knowledge Integration process through active learning and information exchange.
- Engage in cross-training opportunities within the operations team.
**Miscellaneous Duties:**
- Perform administrative tasks as necessary to document work processes.
- Adhere to the company's dress code and professional conduct standards at all times.

- Utilize time, materials, and methods effectively to maximize the company’s profitability.

**Job Requirements:**
**Education and Experience:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two to three years of experience, preferably in customer service, with supervisory roles.
- Prior experience in delivery, packing, moving, and installations is highly preferred.
**Skills:**
- Basic literacy and effective communication skills to handle queries and concerns.
- Fundamental mathematical competence.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
**Certifications:**
- Valid State of Texas driver’s license and insurance.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screening test.
**Physical Demands:**
- The role requires walking, crouching, and climbing stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds and possess sufficient manual dexterity.
- Requires specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
**Work Environment:**
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous equipment, and potential electrical shocks.

**Work Hours:**
