- Over-the-Road Excellence: Safely operate and maintain tractor-trailer units for long-haul transportation, focusing on precision and attention to detail.
- Teamwork at Its Best: Collaborate with a fellow driver, sharing driving duties and ensuring the utmost care of valuable cargo throughout the journey.
- Compliance Champions: Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations and policies, including Hours of Service (HOS).
- Precise Load and Unload: Assist in loading and unloading delicate and high-value cargo, ensuring meticulous securement and comprehensive documentation.
- Temp-Assure Validated TVAL Expertise: Handle Temp-Assure Validated Time-Sensitive Valuable (TVAL) cargo with stringent guidelines for securement, temperature monitoring, and reporting.
- Master of Route Planning: Plan and execute efficient routes that meet strict delivery schedules and uphold the White Glove / DOD Fleet's reputation for punctuality and care.
- Vehicle Vigilance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any defects or maintenance needs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Documentation and Accuracy: Maintain precise logs, records, and reports, including bills of lading, trip sheets, and fuel receipts.
- Secure Load Processes: Implement robust secure load processes to safeguard all cargo during transit.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Interact with customers and FedEx personnel with professionalism and high standards of service.
- Emergency Response Expertise: Respond to emergencies or situations on the road promptly and effectively.
- Communication Mastery: Maintain transparent and open communication with dispatch and fleet management, reporting load status, route changes, and any issues encountered.
