Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with special needs, such as physical therapy exercises or cognitive stimulation
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems
- Ability to cook and prepare meals based on dietary requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
