Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office, including managing patient appointments, scheduling, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Ensure a positive patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any patient concerns or inquiries.
- Supervise front office staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental providers and staff to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle billing and insurance claims, verifying patient insurance coverage and processing payments.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist is required.
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for appointment scheduling and patient records management.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and administrative support in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and medical providers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
