The Opportunity
The available Senior Systems Administrator position is an outstanding opportunity to perform a variety of IT functions in support of, and in conjunction with, our IT team and end-users. Wilson Automotive is in immediate need of an intelligent individual to be a part of the team to maintain critical support of technical infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of professional experience in a senior systems administrator role and have advanced knowledge of providing broad technical support for a multi-site network.
The Role
- Responsible for administration and maintenance of a virtualized IT infrastructure, utilizing VMWare
- Responsible for the deployment and ongoing management of Windows servers, firewalls, wireless controllers, switches, Endpoint Security, end user desktop support to internal users
- Assist with and be able to take the technical lead role with IT projects
- Management of Active Directory group policy and PowerShell scripting
- Deployment of security updates and patches to upgrade systems as required for enhanced functionality
- Troubleshoot and mitigate complex WAN/LAN issues, as well as, break-fix problems
- Deploy new hardware installations and manage migrations to new hardware effectively
- Responsible for developing and maintaining system support documentation
- Perform systems data backups/recoveries and activities associated with user account creations and terminations
- Identify, resolve and escalate issues to leadership, when needed, to establish a sense of urgency
- Provide after-hours and on-call support
- Support users in learning and adapting to new software
- Perform other related duties to support mission critical IT functions, including troubleshooting and maintaining DMS based application software
- Work well with the IT team to identify needs and assess areas for process improvements
- Make recommendations for hardware/software purchases to ensure organizational network performance and stability are met

- Strong networking knowledge and skills, including TCP/IP and DNS
- Expertise in designing, configuring, upgrading, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting MS server operating systems, ESXi, vCenter, Active Directory and Group Policies
- Strong experience with imaging, patching, packaged deployments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or other business-related field
- 7+ years of proven experience in a senior systems administrator role
- Automotive industry experience a plus but not required
- Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation
- Travel to our Orange County locations will be required. In addition, a limited amount of travel may be required to other So Cal locations outside of Orange County. (mileage reimbursed)

Pay: $109,726.00 - $115,573.00 per year
