Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, including managing behavioral symptoms and promoting a safe environment
- Assist with the management of durable medical equipment (DME) for patients in need
- Provide ostomy care, including assessment, education, and support for patients with ostomies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [GA or compact]
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare software applications
