Operations Manager

Are you looking for an exciting start-up opportunity? Are you an experienced operations leader with multisite, optometric experience? If so, this may be the role for you! US VisionMed Partners is hiring an Operations Manager to work in concert with the COO, practice administrators, and physician directors to oversee all aspects of patient-centered care across multiple sites, including daily operations, new business and product line development, and customer service.
US VisionMed Partners (USVMP) is a management company formed to advance specialty eye care services for optometric practices. Headquartered in Dallas, TX, they have practices in several states that they support with marketing, purchasing, operational expertise, financial administration, leadership, and staff training programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or similar.

At least 5 years’ management experience in a multisite medical practice (preferably optometry) with a focus on eye care services and products.

Experience integrating and transitioning new practices into operations workflows.

Strong financial analysis and reporting background, particularly with accounts payable, general ledger, budgeting, productivity tracking, inventory control, and incentive compensation models.

Demonstrable experience in personnel management, administration of payroll and benefits systems, and incentive programs.

In-depth knowledge of compliance, personnel law, workplace safety, and other regulatory issues pertaining to medical practices.

Has been trained in customer service, preferably by a retail company with a proven track record for providing high-end customer service.

Expertise in electronic communications methods, including email and text, and ability to update company promotional website. Experience in using social media effectively is also beneficial.

Applies and modifies the principles of professional management.

Technologically savvy; intermediate expertise in programs such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Ability to anticipate critical issues and design effective interventions.

Ability to travel up to 50%.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000, dependent upon skills and experience.
