Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and software
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner
- Set up user accounts and profiles
- Maintain hardware and software inventory
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's IT environment
- Document all technical procedures and user guides
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues related to TCP/IP and network administration
- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of remedy ticketing system
This position requires a strong understanding of desktop support functions, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. A background in IT support is preferred.
