- Bilingual Spanish speaking and good communication skills a must
- Performs a variety of clerical office functions including patient scheduling, appointment confirmation, photocopying, scanning, printing, sorting of mail, and general office organization
- Professionally answers phone calls and effectively communicates necessary information in a clear, organized, and responsible manner. Documents urgent phone calls and performs follow up calls as needed
- Reviews and responds to physician electronic messages regarding urgent and non-urgent patient matters requiring subsequent patient phone calls
- Performs insurance verifications to ensure patient eligibility
- Collects required documentation and transmits electronically or via fax to requesting parties in a timely manner
- Provides front desk coverage as needed
- Assists manager with patient data collection and patient experience surveys for quality improvement
- Adheres to infection control standards including, but not limited to, hand hygiene, equipment disinfection, and use of PPE
- Adheres to all patient privacy and confidentiality standards
- All other duties, as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 33 per week
