Key Qualifications:
Floor Care Expertise: Proficiency in floor care, including stripping, waxing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, refinishing, tile and grout cleaning, and other relevant skills.
Janitorial Supervision: Demonstrated experience in supervising janitorial staff, with a strong preference for post-construction cleaning experience. Terminal cleaning experience is a valuable asset.
Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading floor care teams and ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.
Equipment Mastery: Proficiency in handling floor care chemicals and machinery, with a background in equipment maintenance.
Inventory Management: Capable of managing warehouse inventory efficiently.
Bilingual Skills: Must be proficient in both English and Spanish.
Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
Problem-Solving and Communication: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills are required.
Project Management: Prior experience in project management is essential, including the ability to define project scope and a comfort level with sales activities.
Proposal Writing: Skilled in writing proposals with a working knowledge of Time and Materials projections.
Scheduling Expertise: Proficient in scheduling, including coordinating, dispatching teams, and managing job schedules effectively.
Flexible Availability: A must, including the ability to work evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed.
Administrative Interaction: Capable of liaising with supervisors and administrators to ensure successful project execution.
Training Abilities: Skilled in training new floor technicians and janitorial staff in all aspects of their job and scope of work.
