Overview:
As a Service Manager at Talos Pest Control, you will play a pivotal leadership role in our local branches, guiding and motivating Pest Technician Teams to deliver exceptional service with Talos pest control solutions. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, this role involves responsibilities ranging from customer satisfaction to optimizing technician schedules, answering sales calls, and managing expenses. This is an hourly position that will also earn commission based on sales and other opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor branch scheduling and ensure successful completion of pest tech routes.
- Address customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests.
- Inspect and evaluate the performance of Pest Technicians.
- Perform data entry for new sales agreements and conversions of existing sales agreements.
- Manage both paper and electronic customer files.
- Perform manual work order completions.
- Initiate outbound collection calls for unpaid new business and rejected payments.
- Analyze current-month technician work schedules to identify optimization opportunities.
- Provide various clerical support activities, such as filing, supply ordering, and state/regulatory reporting.
- Reconcile all bank deposit and finance transactions to achieve a point of zero variance.
- Respond to all open customer follow-up requests and ensure proper resolution.
- Answer sales calls and address inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed. - Act as liaison for property managers to ensure work orders and requests are managed.
- Manage and track expenses related to branch operations, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers License
- Associate’s degree preferred (a four-year degree is highly desirable).
- 1-2 years of related experience (beneficial but not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Problem-solving abilities and a knack for practical solutions.
- Capacity to build rapport and establish trust with customers and employees.
- Attention to detail and a keen understanding of safety protocols.
- Proficiency in basic/intermediate math for sales and service calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and/or Gsuite systems.
- Ability to work remotely (reliable internet connection).
