Advanced Eye Centers
Large ophthalmology practice in need of a motivated, self-starting Ophthalmic Assistant.

Our 14 doctor multi-specialty ophthalmology/optometry practice has 4 office locations across the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Our doctors and physicians provide full service medical and surgical care including routine eye care, retina, glaucoma, oculoplastics, pediatrics, and cornea/ external disease. We are also the premier destination for optical and contact lens service.
Required:
Experience at the Ophthalmic Assistant level preferred. Certification by the Joint commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology at the COA or COT level is preferred but we will assist you in attaining certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience at the Ophthalmic Assistant level preferred. Certification by the Joint commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology at the COA or COT level is preferred but we will assist you in attaining certification.
- Experience in Healthcare with direct patient contact also preferred.
- Possess the professional and communication skills necessary to successfully interact with patients and staff in addressing all patients’ needs.
- Maintain a positive attitude and forge a good working relationship with other staff members.
- The ability to remain composed under stressful situations.
- Pass a background and reference check.
Pay will commensurate with experience. Base pay with no experience starts at $16.50 per hour.

Advanced Eye Centers is a Multi-Site Ophthalmology/Optometry practice with locations on the SouthCoast area of Massachusetts. Each office has a full service Medical/Surgical clinic and Optical Shop. We also own and operate the Advanced Eye Surgery Center. Our focus is on exceptional patient care and customer service. This focus has allowed us to grow steadily over the past ten years. We are a locally owned, staffed, and managed company.
