We are looking for passionate, skilled, and dedicated Child and Adolescent Counselors to join our team in Pocasset, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for clients and families.
- Include the client and family system in the treatment planning process.
- Provide ongoing individual and group counseling to your preferred client population which may include children and teens.
- Develop crisis plans and safety plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the client’s treatment team as authorized by the client.
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings.
- Create discharge plans and document referrals.
- Willingness and desire to build and maintain a strong caseload.
- Schedule and keep records through an electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Adherence to and belief in ethical practice principles.
Basic Qualifications
- Licensed Clinician or Master's degree in a related counseling or social work field
- Available to work in our office in Pocasset
- Flexibility to work afterschool hours 3 days per week and every other Saturday or part-time weekend hours on Saturdays and Sundays
- Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working with children and teens or interested in learning how to be an exceptional children’s therapist.
- Experience or interest in providing somatic informed psychotherapy
- Experience of interest in working with neurodivergent population, with LGBTQA+ and trauma experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Massachusetts to practice as a therapist (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LDAC 1)
- Computer skills
- Courteous, respectful, empathetic, and passionate about helping others.
- A strong desire to make connections and a deep satisfaction in working closely with clients to achieve their goals.
- Adaptable and motivated by seeing growth and change in your clients.
- Interested in continually improving your skills and deepening your clinical abilities.
Compensation:
At Brighter Beginnings, our fee-for-service rates are determined based on your qualifications, experience, and the number of hours worked. Full-time employees, who work an average of 25 clinical hours per week, are eligible for health insurance benefits. Additionally, all employees accrue paid time off (PTO) based on the number of hours worked. Annual income will range from $55K to $90K, depending on qualifications, experience, and hours worked.
