Internal mobility is a focus at CMHA with 6 members of our leadership team growing from individual contributors to Senior Leaders.CMHA is looking to hire a full time Licensed Practical Nurse for the community based Older Adult Care Team. This position will be located in New Britain.
Position Summary:
The RN Provides Collaborates with program teams of professionals and paraprofessionals to identify client needs and contributes to the development of treatment plans while supervising client .

Provides and documents in the medical record psychiatric and pharmacological assessment of clients in accordance with agency policy and procedure through scheduled and emergency appointments.
- Collaborates with program staff and provides timely response to client needs for medication and/or referral and admission to higher or lower levels of care through scheduled appointments or by being on-call.
- Actively participates in team meetings, program evaluation, risk management and quality improvement functions in consultation with the Medical Director and program staff by participating in various committee meetings/work groups.
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years experience in behavioral health nursing
- Experience in or the ability and willingness to learn how to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Demonstrates beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
- Licensed RN diploma/certificate from an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
COMPENSATION RANGE 70-80k Yearly
