We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our healthcare team at our Sussex location. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nurses and support staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to address concerns, provide feedback, and promote professional development
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist in the development of nursing care plans
- Provide direct patient care as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- CPR certification required
