Position Summary
The Engineering Clerk will assist the Facilities team in maintaining building standards and guest relations by providing office support to ensure that the operation is in compliance with company record-keeping policies and responsive to the needs of its customers.
Position Responsibilities
Provide administrative office support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
Efficiently processes daily tasks as assigned, adjusting workload for projects.
Responds to inquiries and issues with thoroughness, discretion, & in timely manner.
Assist employees with W2, address changes, sick, vacation issues, etc.
Pay union claims.
Process waxie orders.
Make building log and SDS books as requested by supervisors and managers.
Process ePay submittals by running reports and manage reclassing temporary labor.
Preparation of cash applications for data entry and update aging report by recording all payments including those made on-line.
Send weekly reminders to managers to approve payroll.
Purchase order reconciliations.
Serve as a backup to other administrative staff.
Submit safety forms in CASE.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
Communicate across multiple channels with different teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles
- Three years of administrative work experience is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have exceptional ability to assist on multiple projects/tasks
- Proven ability to prioritize and work with all levels of the organization
- Proven track record and demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong team skills; contributes to and promotes positive team rapport.
