Sylvan Learning Center, in Fremont, is hiring a center administrator who will keep us on track as we go through our very busy days. Sylvan has been helping students succeed in school for over 45 years and you will be our first contact with the many phone calls and visits we receive from parents, students and those asking about our services.
The Admin and Customer service manager is an enthusiastic member of our staff who supports the Center Directors, handles our busy phones, welcomes the students and manages other administrative services.

- 2 years office experience.
- Computer proficient, ready to learn our center operations software.

- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- AA degree or equivalent experience and education.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high quality and accurate work.
- Ability to create a welcoming and professional front desk environment for our students, families, and community.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries.
- Utilize computer skills to maintain office records, schedule appointments, and respond to emails.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing office supplies, and supporting office staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and support overall business objectives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (Required)
