As a Regional Inventory Manager at Crescent Electric, you will perform analytical tasks and research to develop the overall operation of our supply chain. In this role, you will work closely with procurement leadership and the associated functional areas of sales, finance, transportation, and the branch operations teams to support CESCO initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Create insights into business, supply chain markets, competitors, and suppliers through fact-based analysis. Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance.

Develop actionable solutions to key strategic questions by working closely with internal and external strategy partners and our sales team to understand the key market fundamentals that will impact our supply chain.

Translate key market needs into inventory planning strategies and settings within the ERP system.

Perform scenario-based analysis to help predict future market needs based on a complex set of dynamic variables. Develop key performance metrics to monitor progress and compliance against organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and deliver presentations and market intelligence briefings to senior leadership on key market and business drivers.

Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance communication processes in order to optimize inventory planning.
SKILLS:
-
Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and draw actionable insights.

Demonstrated understanding of supply chain, inventory planning methodology, and strategic sourcing.

Ability to work and collaborate internally and externally, in a virtual environment with a diverse team, including networking skills and drive to continuously expand the network.

Demonstrated understanding of ERP systems, preferably Eclipse Solar.

Ability to remain agile, flexible, and adaptable to work in a changing/evolving environment

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Outlook.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a supply chain capacity and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
