Full time Deputy/Utility Clerk wanted. Must be detail-oriented, organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have ability to work with the general public effectively and professionally, and be proficient with computers, Microsoft Office and various software tools. Must be able to learn and understand local and state ordinances, meet deadlines, produce accurate and timely meeting minutes and records, conduct research, and operate town audio/visual equipment. Job requires the ability to work evening meetings once per month. $23 to 26/hr.
High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework completed with business, accounting, or related field highly preferred. Two (2) years of administrative assistant and accounts receivable experience required, as well as a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
