Job Overview:
Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of the students and families that we serve? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team! As a Behavior Technician at Middle Tree, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our students, implementing evidence-based strategies and witnessing firsthand the incredible progress they make. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA to address specific behavioral goals for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior during each session.
- Assist in developing and modifying treatment plans based on student progress and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA and other team members regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students during sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with developmental challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and engage in physical activities with students for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20-50 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
