Patient Care Tech (CNA) - Skilled Nursing/Rehab
Full-time - 36hr/wk - 7pm-7:30am
Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
The Patient Care Tech (CNA) will provide nursing support for The Renaissance, a 45 bed skilled nursing/rehab facility at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The Patient Care Tech is a critical part of the Patient Care Team and works in a collaborative relationship with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This certified role:
- Participates as an active member of the care team, interacting in a manner that embraces the success of the team and provides quality care delivery.
- Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
- Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
- Answers call lights promptly.
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or GED
- Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required

Salary Range: Minimum $18.39 per hour - Maximum $28.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
