This is a non- exempt (hourly) position
Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include an assessment of the applicant’s salary history and qualifications in comparison to the market rate and requirements for the job.

POSITION SUMMARY
- Performs full performance technical level work assisting physicians, nurses, and other medical staff in providing quality patient care utilizing specialized treatments and/or procedures in
Licenses and Certifications: CPR certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of Medical Assistant experience
- Certification or Registration as a CMA or RMA
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
- Blood borne pathogen regulations and universal precautions sufficient to be able to protect self and others from possible infection.
- Health support practices sufficient to be able to perform triage service for patients.
- Clinic care sufficient to be able to assist caregivers and perform a variety of other duties related to the work assignment.
Skilled in:
- Prioritizing work;
- Providing customer service;
- Using a computer and related software applications;
- Applying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, regulations, and procedures;
- Preparing a variety of reports and documentation;
- Assessing consumer needs, problems, and progress
- Using diagnostic and therapeutic equipment sufficient to be able to administer care to patients under the direction of a licensed health professional.

- Communication – Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- Collaboration – Working effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships.

- Patient Relations – Meeting patient and patient family needs; taking responsibility for a patient’s safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes; using appropriate interpersonal techniques to resolve difficult patient situation and regain patient confidence.
