Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Overview
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Components supervisor will directly supervise a team of 10-15 associates at our satellite warehouse location. The Components Supervisor plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing schedule on track and should possess great self-direction abilities and attention to detail. In addition, this person is passionate about process improvement, team building, training and developing direct reports, and working cross-functionally.

What You’ll Do
- Supervise staff and activities primarily at our satellite warehouse location
- Ensure the teams are following all OSHA and other safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance and training as needed
- Component staging for batches
- Making sure ERP system/ Inventory software is being updated in timely manner, being utilized properly and accurately to ensure inventory control
- Responsible for creating and reporting on performance metrics for assigned area
- Create and implement continuous improvements for cost and operations
- Schedule and oversee direct reports to meet the demands of the distribution center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
- Meet regularly with Receiving and Shipping Supervisor and Warehouse Manager to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
- Working with the Inventory Specialist(s) to make sure we are performing cycle counts as needed for materials and components; inventory accuracy is of the utmost importance to the success of our operation.
- Perform and prepare cycle count reports for inventory accuracy. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventories.
- Managing/arranging the destruction of material and components as needed
- Responsible for ISO and GMP compliance within the assigned area. This includes documentation and audit responsibility as required
- Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
- Responsible for ensuring the daily cleanliness of the warehouse to include keeping areas clear of debris and trash
- Responsible for performing standard administrative tasks such as Time & Attendance approval, Time Off Approval, disciplinary notices, performance appraisal, etc.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory/managerial role in Warehousing, Receiving and Inventory (5+ preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems, setting up scanning solutions around receiving and inventory control
- Passionate about training and developing direct reports, building a talent bench for the company from within
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Great interpersonal skills and high degree of self-motivation
- Must be able to use computer fluently (Google sheets/etc) for daily activities and reports
- Knowledge of ISO, GMP guidelines, and quality systems
