Senior Attorney for Litigation and Corporate Law
Job Summary
Reid & Wise LLC is an international law firm that represents individual and corporate clients in complex investment related litigation, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, general corporate law, and high-end business immigration. Our offices are located in class A buildings in New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai (licensed by the Bureau of Justice of China to practice law in Mainland China). Much of our practice involves representing clients in US-China cross-border litigation and transactions. Over the years we have built up a diversified practice and a friendly working environment. In an effort to expand our practice, we are seeking attorneys with expertise in litigation/bankruptcy law, and general corporate law for our New York office and los Angeles office.
Support from the firm:
Guidance from highly experienced litigation attorneys.
Cross-selling, referrals, and collaboration between different offices.
Assistance from legal, administrative, and accounting/tax staff.
Global malpractice insurance coverage.
Attorney Responsibilities and Duties
Advise clients on litigation and dispute resolution matters.
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with the court.
Supervise and train junior attorneys.
Develop and promote Reid & Wise law firm culture and brand name inside and outside the law firm.
Attorney Qualifications and Skills
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation (preferable commercial and/or investment related).
Must be comfortable managing junior legal staffs.
Must be highly motivated and capable of developing and following through on strategies to successfully resolve diverse and complex matters, and be able to coordinate with attorneys from other offices.
Bilingual candidates with Chinese language skills are preferred but not required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
