Overview
Assistant Manager, Sales & Trade Show Operations will support the David Yurman Sales force by owning Vestry Wholesale Trade Shows. This position will act as a conduit for select operational sales information, including the Wholesale budget. In addition, this position will oversee operational and reporting aspects for Wholesale Trade Shows at Vestry, or virtually, along with other Wholesale Vestry initiatives. This position will also be responsible for supplying a specific set of Independent accounts with all daily inquiries, including but not limited to: open order updates, stock and special orders, consignment/trunks, advertising, availability, shipment updates, RTV requests, consumer problems, quality issues, creations, etc. This position will work in direct partnership with Regional Account Managers and Directors to facilitate total account management and aide in achieving sales plan.
Responsibilities

Owns all aspects of Wholesale Markets, including the overall budget, market calendar, catering (when market is in person), staffing, logistical and reporting/recap functions.

Leads the overall planning and execution of Wholesale Markets,

Manages Wholesale Account Incentive Budget / Contests

Identifies and recommends improvements to processes & reporting, as it pertains to budgeting and Trade Shows

Monitor and reconcile incentives budget, DSA budgets

Manage a Wholesale Corporate account including building product orders and tracking sales

Responsible for supplying a specific set of Independent accounts with all daily inquires via phone, email and fax, including but not limited to: open order updates, stock and special orders, consignment/trunks, advertising, item availability, shipment updates/issues, RTV requests, consumer complaints/problems, quality issues, creations, discrepancies, etc.

Works in direct partnership with Regional Account Managers and Directors to facilitate total account management and aide in achieving sales plan. Partners with Senior Director of Bloomingdales to identify business opportunities and communicate those to planning team.

Manages all Cable Cash Contests. Creates contest guidelines, sales tiers/corresponding jewelry prizes and requirements for each specific time period.

Oversees bi-weekly automated Indy Replenishment. Identify, communicate, and follow up on any inaccuracies within the system. 12

Sends weekly communication of all Item Changes, Style Cancellations, Price Changes and Finalizing Pricing to affected accounts

Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, fulfilling requests.

Total Market participation. Inclusive of order form development, assist with product presentation, order review/PO# confirmation, final submission and delivery.

Trunk show management. Writing, coordinating scheduling/delivery, tracking sales and invoicing
Qualifications & Competencies

Retail store experience preferred

3+ years equivalent related experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel & PowerPoint

Forecasting and / or modeling experience a plus

Range- $70,000-$75,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
