Supporting the team charged with growing downstream market Partnerships, the Market Development Specialist is a fast paced, strategic, Commercial role in the Global Metals and Minerals team. This role is responsible for the coordination of Market Development activities; creating, maintaining and innovating best practices; providing market insights and intelligence for various end-use verticals across the Commercial organization; and, developing compelling content to be used along the path to Partnership securitization.
Support the Market Development team in all go-to-market activities, including partner engagement, contracting, lead generation / development and account management:

Provides coordination of best-practices sharing across various team members

Development of various templates / presentation formats to be used internally and with partners

Development and management of CRM solution for team

Market assessment to provide lead generation for team

Coordinate and maintain market intelligence reporting systems to inform the Commercial organization in key developments in end-use markets

Support development of strategic alignment / objectives of multiple Product categories by identifying Commercial gap analyses and attractiveness of new markets

Collaborate with Commercial colleagues across Product groups and Metals and Minerals to stay abreast of Product industry supply / demand balances; translate these balances to actionable development of opportunities in end-use verticals / sectors

Lead the development and sharing of key internal reports used for sharing Market Development progress with key partners
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or Equivalent is required.

Strong strategic and commercial acumen with 2-5 years of prior experience in commercial strategy, consulting and/or investment analysis

Ability to present strategic ideas in a simple and digestible manner

Strong data analysis background

Curiosity, creativity, and the ability to action conceptual thought

Excellent written communication – presentations and papers

Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
