Staffing Network is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator that will be responsible for other warehouse duties explained below. The location is in Farmers Branch, TX.
Salary Range: $18 - $20 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4 pm or 8am-5pm (flexible)
Summary/Objective: The shipping and receiving coordinator position performs inventory management for incoming and outgoing company products and is responsible for preparing products for shipping both nationally and internationally. This position also requires the use of calipers and tape measurers for measuring tubing that needs to be cut in order to be shipped out.
Essential Functions:
· Completed incoming inspection of goods received and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation
· Notifies and/or delivers incoming product to the end user
· Distributes shipment paperwork daily, both incoming and outgoing, to accounting department for processing
· Responsible for managing all outbound shipments, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.
· Must utilize UPS/FedEx software effectively.
· Ensuring correct shipment of international orders
· Able to operate a small cutting machine and measure with calipers and a tape measurer
· Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside vendors.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Two or more years of shipping experience. Preferably in International Shipping
· Able to use calipers and tape measurer
