Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile Property and Construction Management Specialist to oversee our expanding operations. This role combines traditional property management with construction oversight, including purchasing and vendor management. You will also be responsible for managing our short-term rentals portfolio. Utilizing tech stacks for financial and operational tasks, you will ensure efficiency and accuracy in our processes. This position requires a robust understanding of construction management, property upkeep, and financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive management of financial operations using AppFolio software for both long-term and short-term properties.
- Oversee construction projects, including vendor and purchasing management to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain databases for property management; generate insightful presentations and detailed reports to aid decision-making.
- Handle client accounts meticulously, ensuring all billing, invoicing, and financial tracking is accurate.
- Maintain updated records of property and tenant information, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes and efficiency across all units.
- Provide technical support for AppFolio and other construction management software issues within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property and/or construction management.
- Proficiency in AppFolio, project management software, and Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with an excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in managing short-term rentals, construction projects, and financial operations.
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to superior client service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
