The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all students and staff on the Center. You will interpret and evaluate the Center's safety policies and procedures and use proper judgment and discretion to prevent health and safety problems. Responsibilities:
Safe Learning Environment: Ensure the creation and maintenance of a secure working and learning environment that fosters growth and success for all students and staff.
Policy Interpretation: Interpret and evaluate Phoenix Job Corps' safety policies and procedures, bringing them to life through practical implementation and proactive measures.
Judgment and Discretion: Use your impeccable judgment and discretion to anticipate, identify, and address potential health and safety concerns before they impact our community.
Collaborative Safety Culture: Foster a collaborative safety culture by engaging with students, staff, and leadership to build awareness and instill a sense of responsibility for safety.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring the readiness of the community to navigate any unforeseen challenges effectively.

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
