As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, uninstalling, and servicing our state-of-the-art coffee and espresso machines at various customer locations, such as offices, restaurants, hotels, and more. You will also maintain a sufficient inventory of spare parts, document your work activities, and provide feedback to the company.
This is an independent role that allows you to manage your own schedule and work hours, Monday through Friday. You will also have the opportunity to learn from our experienced team and gain valuable skills in small business management, customer service, equipment maintenance, and problem-solving.
To qualify for this position, you need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift a machine of 40 plus pounds. Experience with foodservice equipment is a plus, but not required. We will provide you with the necessary training and support to succeed in this role.

A Service Technician at Break Coffee Co. is responsible for installing and uninstalling coffee and espresso brewing equipment at customer locations, as well as providing weekly servicing to our existing clientele. Customer locations include, but are not limited to, offices, restaurants, hotels, and other away-from-home locations where coffee beverages are prepared. Your own personal vehicle/transportation to, from and between locations is required. Service Technicians are also responsible for maintaining adequate and accurate parts inventory, service call closure and specific documentation of work assignments and time. Work hours are part-time, Monday through Friday, during the day. This is an independent role with immense flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys and installations.
- Maintain spare part levels and reorders within replenishment guidelines.
- Responsible for all documentation and activity verification required by the Company, including product count procedure and daily activities sheet.
- Participate in the forecasting and planning of equipment and supply needs.
- Provide customer feedback/requests to management or to other departments.
- Create a system to fulfill all promises made to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
