General Purpose
- Plant safety; strategic planning; quality assurance; problem resolution, optimizing and improving equipment.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Champion of Company Core Value
- Ensure daily production in accordance with “defined operating standards”.
- Plan, organize, lead and control all plant operations.
- Ensure timely output of product within standards of budget, policies, procedures, safety and housekeeping aspects of operations.
- Direct output of all manufacturing information records and computer input to ensure timely and accurate production records.
- Evaluate, train, and lead department team leaders in a manner that ensures the most effective and efficient total plant operation.
- Meet with manufacturing teams on a regular basis to review all maintenance and investment projects.
- Develop ideas and ways to improve capacity, additional equipment, manpower, lower cycle times, and improve run quota.
- Develop expense budget for equipment modifications, improvements and maintenance.
- Develop investment budget for all new activities.
- Develop scheduling for production needs and shutdown activities.
- Supervise the investigation and ensure immediate corrective action to be taken for all plant safety, security, and housekeeping problems.
- Interface and communicate in an effective and consistent manner with all plant personnel to produce positive associate morale.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are documented and maintained on the manufacturing floor.
- Provide leadership in continuous improvement efforts.
- Responsible for manufacturing area cleanliness and organization
- Contribute to team effort by helping with other projects and duties as needed
Safety
- Ensure compliance and develop guidelines for efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all activities are performed according to company safety policies.
Key Performance Indicators
- All production targets are met.
- Implement additional KPI’s as necessary.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience or 7 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
- Proven leader
- Military veteran preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
