Responsibilities
We are Hiring! Peraton is looking for a
.NET Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the DOS eOPF Program. T
his is a Hybrid position, must be able to work onsite at least one day a month. The qualified candidate must be local to the DMV area.
What you will do:
- Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based, technical, and business software systems.
- Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
- Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
- Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
- Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.
- Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
- Interfaces with government engineers/architects regarding architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on needs and anticipated technology advances.
- Defines templates and sets best standards and practices that development teams can utilize.
- Coordinates with platform vendors for issues and support requests.
- Works with operations personnel and application users to troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Experience working with one or more of the following:
- C#, Visual Basic
- .NET Framework
- MVC
- Angular,
- JavaScript
- JSON
- Oracle, PL/SQL
- Web Services
- HTML/HTML5.
- Experience working in agile, software development, and production environments.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a full stack developer.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Hold an active government clearance.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
