We are looking for a Front Desk Associate to make our clients feel welcome and ensure their pleasant and comfortable stay at our hotel.
What is the role of a Front Desk Associate?
- Front Desk Associate responsibilities include: greeting guests as they arrive, coordinating their check-ins and check-outs from assigned rooms, and informing them about the hotel’s facilities. You will offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests. You will also be responsible for quality control and auditing clean and dirty rooms, as well as assisting guests with needs and issues.
If you have previous hospitality experience and are familiar with hotel procedures, like bookings, check-in/check-out processes, handling guest concerns, we’d like to meet you.
Our ideal candidates have a flair for communication, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. Ultimately, you will provide prompt and polite guest services, answer guests’ requests, and make sure our visitors are satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Provide stellar guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay
- Ensure guests are properly greeted upon their arrival
- Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions
- Promptly address guests’ requests, like linens or extra towels
- Actively listen to and resolve complaints
- Ensure special guests, like disabled people, elderly, families with small children receive personalized services
- Coordinate communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve guest concerns
- Inform guests of our hotel services, including breakfast and marketplace options
- Liaise with Housekeepers to provide an overall comfortable guest experience
- Ensure public areas are clean and sanitary, and assist in some basic housekeeping / laundry as needed
- Analyze customer feedback from hotel guestbook and online
- Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
Skills
- Any guest / client facing experience from any industry is welcome; hospitality industry experience a plus
- Hands-on experience with PMS software is a plus
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
