Position Description: The person in this position is directly responsible to the School Psychologist Supervisor.
Experience/Education (Preferred): High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of two years’ experience where qualifications and responsibilities were comparable.
Essential Functions:
· Utilizes web based programs such as Q-global, MHS and Riverside and ability to troubleshoot access issues that may arise as well as maintaining inventory
· Scores protocols using the web based service and coordinates access to the service with school psychologists
· Uses Knowledge and understanding of the ETR (evaluation team report) process to ensure required evaluation documents are completed.
· Schedules ETR meetings and coordinates the attendance of legally required members of the team
· Maintains school psychologists working student files for current ETRs that are in process
· Communicates with parents regarding paperwork needed during the ETR process as well as facilitating their attendance at meetings
· Works with various school staff (including but not limited to occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers, etc.) to obtain necessary paperwork needed during the ETR process
· Travels between various buildings across the district and work with different teams of staff within each building

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Extensive knowledge with the range of assessments used by the school psychologists (including but not limited to the Woodcock Johnson, Weschler, BASC and Kaufman assessments) preferred
· Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement practices to increase efficiencies within the job requirements.
· Proven skills in Microsoft Office with special attention to mail merge (Student Information Systems, MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Google systems).
· Effective, active listening skills and the ability to communicate with parents and staff demonstrating an understanding of the sensitivity needed during the evaluation process.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively with others, including various school psychologists with differing work and procedural styles
· Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
· Affinity for detail.
· Human relations skills; ability to relate to a wide range of people and problems calmly and in an assured manner.
· Proven competence in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
· Telephone presence.
· Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
· Maturity, composure, warmth, stability, high energy level and the ability to work independently to organize work schedules, set priorities and coordinate the flow of work through the office.
· Typing
· Operate computer, copier and printer.
· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and maintain legal requirements under FERPA and IDEA.
· Knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment.
