Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations for a multispecialty physician practice in Nassau County, New York, to oversee our company's daily operations and drive efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in Operations Management. Our multispecialty private physician practice provides a high level of medical and surgical care for patients in Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey. With multiple awards and distinctions, our practice has served our community for over 20 years. As a high growth practice, we are looking for a motivated Operations Director to streamline and improve care for our patients.
Duties:
- Oversee day to day operations of the practice.
- Must be an Operations Director in the medical field preferably in Orthopedics.
- Provide effective leadership to Managers, Supervisors and Teammates in overseeing the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care.
- Assign workloads, develop priorities and establish work schedules and policies necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Conduct detailed and regular reviews and get insight/direct feedback from physicians and Supervisors.
- Develop, analyze and implement processes and systems to enhance the patient experience.
- Responsible for the overall "Patient Experience" throughout the practice.
- Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations.
- Work with physicians and clinical staff to implement and monitor clinic quality measures and provide KPI's including metrics such as resource utilization, patient satisfaction and cycle time, and enacts plans to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.
- Coordinate external audit reviews and responses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree which may be in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
- Six to ten years experience in the medical field preferably in Orthopedics.
-Skills in Process Mapping and Resource Management including a blackbelt in Lean/Six Sigma.
- Strong leadership, delegation and excellent communication skills.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
