Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented, detailed oriented Fleet Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with business leaders across the entire organization to identify vehicle fleet and operation needs. Along with ensuring compliance with safety, registration and other vehicle requirements, and administer fleet monitoring tools.
Essential Job Accountabilities:

Serve as the primary resource for all items concerning the vehicle fleet and operations.

Organize, prepare and assist in fleet related training activities.

Ensure accurate recording, tracking and efficient asset utilization.

Assist in the creation and implementation of fleet policies and procedures.

Maintain all records, files, and archives related to fleet operations and driver performance.

Track, generate, and analyze data for the organization’s vehicles, and machinery.

Assist in all transactions related to buying and selling equipment ensuring alignment with the business needs.

Maintain existing relationships with vendors and external partners.

Schedule maintenance activities and define integrated fleet improvement programs.

Be knowledgeable of and administer DOT mandated vehicle programs to include driver licensing and periodic certification, and logbook requirements.

Maintain the organizations fuel card program in accordance with company policies.

Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of all fleet related activities.

Additional duties as assigned.

Help manage all Capital Expenditure (CapEx) requests as it relates to company vehicles, and equipment.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or similar (preferred).

5+ years of fleet management experience in construction, or related industry.

Ability to analyze, track and generate large data sets.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Strong communications skills with the ability to work effectively across all business units.

Experience and ability to effectively lead and manage teams.

Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning software (Acumatica preferred).

Experience utilizing industry (construction) specific software’s (Samsara, HCSS preferred).

Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with vendors.

Advanced time management, documentation, and organizational skills.

Willing to travel as needed.
