JOB SUMMARY:
The Pro Supply Store Manager is responsible for selling and providing professional customer service. This is accomplished by answering incoming calls and making outbound calls, assisting customers promptly with purchase decisions, filling orders for flooring sundries and assisting with product questions and resolving order related issues. All interactions are expected to be handled in a courteous, consistent and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct business-to-business calls from leads already generated through the company
- Acquire and grow business through phone sales by understanding the customer's business and supply chain needs.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Input, edit and process orders in a timely manner
- Inform customers of unit price, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information required by the customer
- Verify shipping order accuracy regarding quantity shipped by cross referenceing shipping documents
- Navigate our internal computer system to research customer information
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Company's products and promotions
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to processes, policies, and procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma with at least one year of general office work experience
- Ability to perform simple mathematic functions (calculate percentages, discounts, etc.)
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, copiers, software and other office equipment
- Must have excellent telephone technique, including ability to communicate with confidence with a clear, professional speaking voice
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Must be detail oriented, well organized and have ability to multitask and prioritize in a high volume environment
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
